Hi, I'm the face behind K9 Glow Up - a lifelong dog lover, proud wife, mum to two grown-up daughters and daughter to my wonderful mum who lives with us. I've finally turned my passion for dogs into a full-time career. 

Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and my home is very much dog-centered. I currently have four dogs: two Labradoodles, a St Berdoodle, and a Standard Poodle, who I hope to show and groom competitively in the future. For the past 9 years, I've been grooming from home alongside my 27-year career as a Paramedic. After years of balancing both worlds, I decided to follow my passion and build a career doing what I love every day. 

I've achieved my iPET Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management and continue to develop my skills to provide the best care for every dog at K9 Glow Up. 

Your dog will be groomed in a fully equipped, brick-built garden salon designed for comfort and safety, complete with heating, air conditioning, and a calm one-to-one environment. I am fully insured, First Aid trained, and committed to creating a positive experience for every dog - whether nervous, elderly, excitable, or seasoned salon visitors. At K9 Glow Up, I use top-quality grooming products and equipment, including a brand-new Hydrobath.  Hydrobaths are excellent for deep yet gentle cleaning, helping to remove dirt, loose coat, allergens, and dead skin while providing a soothing massage effect. They are especially beneficial for double-coated breeds, sensitive skin, and dogs who deserve a luxurious spa-like bath experience. 

I strongly believe in quality over quantity. I'm incredibly detail-focused and probably my own biggest critic, which means every groom is completed with patience, care, and attention to detail rather than rushing dogs through appointments. I offer practical pet trims, breed-standard styling, and hand-stripping services for suitable wire-coated breeds to maintain correct coat texture and condition. All breeds and sizes are welcome—from tiny toy breeds to giant doodles. K9 Glow Up is proudly crate-free, ensuring your dog enjoys a calm, personal grooming experience without waiting in cages. 

Outside of grooming, I also enjoy dog sports, including Canicross and Flyball, although Flyball is on hold while I grow this exciting new venture. My husband, Steve and I have entered the 2027 London Marathon and will soon start our training journey together—something we're both really excited about.
